11 months

Just a quick update on some more exciting firsts for Grant. As we mentioned in the last post, Grant was moving up to the next classroom at school. Last week was his first full week in the Elephant room. They told us that he did great and is transitioning very well. Oh, and that transition includes only ONE nap...

He had a wonderful time exploring all of the new toys

The first day he made a crown

Grant also had his first swimming lessons on Saturday. It was perfect timing because he has just recently started to splash around in the bathtub (I'm not sure what was taking so long! He's so serious when taking a bath). He was not afraid of the water at all and was very good at kicking his right foot.

Then on Sunday, we went to Grant's first Rockies game with some friends. It was a good game but the Rockies ended up losing :(

Finally, starting last weekend Grant learned to wave however it was not to anyone in particular. He would wave at walls, toys, and the ground, but he would very rarely wave to a person and it would never be at an appropriate time. Last weekend is when we took this video. The good news is that this weekend he figured out when to wave... at people.

P.S. Grant is 11 months and 1 day old today. How did we get here already???

  1. Looks like Grant's a natural in the water! Alex starts his swim lessons on June 14. Four nights a week for two weeks.
